Man fatally shot during altercation in apartment complex

HOUSTON The victim, Lanail Gregory Allen, 43, suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say they were called to an address Tuesday in the 7000 block of Locke Lane discovered Allen had been shot during an altercation in the apartment complex courtyard.
