Hurricane damaged churches' uncertain future

Parishioners of the Mother of Mercy Catholic Church met Monday night. The church was damaged during Hurricane Ike and has not been open since. The Galveston-Houston Archdiocese says it's evaluating all of the churches damaged by Ike and this is one of them.

The Archdiocese says, "no final decisions have been made regarding any of the affected parishes and buildings at this time."
