HOUSTON So once again community leaders and police are working together on project safe start. Police and ministers will be walk the halls at schools to talk to students and prevent violence.

"We're there for them -- that they'll have a safe summer," said Dan Perales with the Houston Police Departments. "A safe start of the summer because we are trying to prevent any crime from happening on campus or around school premises."
