Cap flexibility, tough negotiation led Panthers to rescind franchise tag on Josh Norman

Panthers GM Dave Gettleman said the flexibility from removing Josh Norman's cap number and the unlikelihood of a long-term deal being reached ultimately led to the team's decision to move on.
