The Supreme Court, in a 5-4 decision, upheld state laws that allow the counting of late-arriving mail-in ballots even if they were postmarked by Election Day.
A state appeals court overturned Gov. Greg Abbott's previous one drop-off site per county order, but it remains to be seen how fast this new ruling is executed.
"I went through the drive-thru, total in-and-out (was) 15 minutes," a Houston voter said.
Ballot requests in 38 states, whether by mail or through some form of in-person early voting, surpassed 35 million this week.
