Charles James: "My time in Houston is up"

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Charles James won't be returning to the Texans.

James posted on Instagram that his "time is up" in Houston. The Texans later confirmed he was waived from the roster.

"All I have is good memories about this place. I'm truly sorry I couldn't be better in the most precious moments but I'm only human and life happens," he wrote.

James was known for his colorful socks, even making them into a clothing line.
