Six rescued after boating accident in San Jacinto river
Six people were rescued after a boat hit a stump in the San Jacinto River.

The Houston Fire Department says three men, two women and one 13-year-old were rescued after a boater hit a stump in the San Jacinto River.

Officials say the boat began taking on water after the hit.

All six passenger on board were able to swim to a sandbar, and a passing boater was able to get everyone safely to shore.

No injuries were reported.
