PASADENA, TX -- The city of Pasadena kicked off December with some early deliveries for a group of local kids.

On Tuesday morning, Santa was in town for a visit to the Pasadena Post Office at 1199 Pasadena Blvd. near Pasadena Town Square Mall.

Santa stopped by the post office to pick up a few Christmas wish letters from some local pre-K kids, and included photos, and a visit with Santa.

"Santa stopped by here at the post office to visit with the postal employees and to pick up the letters that have come in from different kids who have already their letter off with Santa," said Jennifer Pederson, the city's public information officer. "The post office is emphasizing that the kids who weren't here today or haven't dropped their letters for Santa off already can drop them off at any mail box, they can drop them off at the post office."
