
ARCOLA, Texas (KTRK) -- The City of Arcola's water system was temporarily out of service on Wednesday afternoon, according to city officials.
Authorities asked residents for their patience and understanding as crews worked to restore water service.
In an update around 3 p.m., city officials said the outage was resolved.
Officials did not say what caused the outage or whether a boil water notice was required.
The city, located in Fort Bend County, reported a population of less than 3,000 as of 2020.
