Sonia Ramirez and Karina Hernandez discuss the University of Houston's Center for Mexican American Studies. The Center was created in 1972 to showcase the Latino experience.
Ramirez works at the Center for Mexican American studies and Hernandez is a UH senior who was aided by the Center's scholarship program.
