Texas Parks & Wildlife brings the outdoors to the Art Car Parade

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Art Car Parade is one of Houston's most unique events, celebrating art and creativity.

"Art Car is just weird, and what could be more weird than nature?" asked a staff member with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

The TPWD is joining the parade this year with their entry "Better Outside."

In the video above, staff members show us how they are turning a truck into a showcase for the different recreational activities Texans can enjoy at state parks.

You can see their final design at the 39th annual Houston Art Car Parade, presented by Team Gillman.
