Missing 5-year-old South Texas boy found safe

MATHIS, Texas (KTRK) -- A 5-year-old boy has been found safe after an Amber Alert was issued for him out of Mathis,Texas

Police said Enrique Hernandez was turned over to CPS. It's not clear how he was found.

Authorities said he may have been abducted by 22-year-old Stephanie Olivarez. Her whereabouts are not clear.
