Best Friend, Hero, Marine

"Max" is the story of a highly trained military dog serving in Afghanistan when his handler, U.S. Marine Kyle Wincott, is killed. Max is then shipped back home to live with Kyle's family.

Josh Wiggins is a Houston native and plays Kyle's little brother, Justin.

Josh joined us in the ABC13 studios earlier this week to talk about the movie.

Josh says he has always been a dog lover-he has three dogs of his own at home. He says being a part of this movie has made him a bit of an animal advocate, especially in raising awareness about military service dogs.

"Max" opens today.
