HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Surveillance video shows the suspect hitting his neighbor with a truck at an RV Park in Channelview on Sunday.
On Thursday, the Harris County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of the suspect, 27-year-old Fernando Bravo.
Investigators said Bravo is now in jail, facing two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The victim does not want to be identified by ABC13. The harassment has been going on for months, and they never reported it, but it escalated on Sunday.
"That was a hard hit - felt like a no-look hit. And I didn't know if he was still coming or what," the victim said.
He said his injuries have left him in and out of the hospital and have even made it difficult to work.
"Spitting on people's cars as they drive by, like just yelling at people when they come through the park," the victim said. "He told my lady he said, 'I'll run your beep over for no reason.' She's walking to the store, man."
The victim says even after he was hit, the threats continued.
"You can ever hear him say -- from an RV you can hear everything and you hear him, 'I'm going to kill you next time, white boy,'" he said.
The victim is now grateful for an arrest and that things did not escalate further.
"Yes, very lucky to be alive, it ain't the first time someone's tried to take me out, but hopefully it's the last," the victim said.
