Houston gyro-eating contest decided by instant replay

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It was a battle of the titans at the Houston Greek Fest Sunday.

Two of the biggest rivals in the world of competitive eating faced off at the Niko Niko's Gyro-eating Championship. It was so close the judges had to review the tape.

In the end, Joey Chestnut reclaimed his crowd with 30 gyros in 10 minutes. Defending champ Matt Stonie finished second with 28.5 gyros.
