House fire shuts down Texas Parkway in Missouri City

There's a traffic alert to pass along if you're driving through Missouri City today.

According to city officials, Texas Parkway is shut down at Buffalo Run while crews battle a fire at an abandoned home.
They estimate Texas Parkway will be shut down for another two to four hours.

Drivers should avoid the area.
