Eating walnuts reduces risk of cancer, heart disease and dementia

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Walnuts could become the next super food craze.

New research shows eating a small bag of walnuts each day could reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer and dementia.

Researchers conducted an experiment on rats and found walnuts promote the growth of good bacteria that keeps the digestive system healthy.
