Fire engulfs apartment building at Palms at Cypress Station

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Firefighters battled a massive apartment fire at the Palms at Cypress Station Tuesday morning.

The initial word is that all residents have been evacuated safely.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
