An HPD officer was driving around near Drew Street and Canfield around 12:30am when someone started shooting at the back of his car. He drove away and parked in a safe spot, and then got out and looked at the damage.

There were three bullet holes in the tail end of his vehicle made by a small-caliber gun, possibly an air gun or a .22. The bullets only hit the frame of the cruiser.

The officer was not hurt.

Right now, Houston police have no suspects, and no one in custody.
