HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It was a frightening scene at Minute Maid Park Friday before the game between the Astros and Diamondbacks, when a fan collapsed in the stands.
It happened at around 6:30pm. At this point, it's not clear what caused the collapse. CPR was performed on the man for several minutes before he was wheeled out of the stadium.
We don't know the man's condition.
The Astros released a statement following the incident, saying, "Prior to this evening's game, medical personnel transported a fan from Minute Maid Park to the hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family."
