Thieves smash into clothing store bathroom, leave empty handed

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Thieves smashed 3-foot hole into the back of a clothing store, but police don't believe the crooks every went inside.

It happened at the "It's Fashion Metro" store on the North Freeway and Tidwell.

Officers say it appears the crooks got spooked and left the scene after punching a hole into the bathroom of the business.

Police are still looking for the suspects.
