Irma shutters Kennedy Space Center

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (KTRK) -- NASA is still dealing with the effects of Hurricane Irma. Kennedy Space Center on Florida's east coast is still closed.

The major Category 4 hurricane knocked out the facility's water service. Fortunately, there was no major damage from the storm at Kennedy Space Center, but visitors are not allowed on the property.

It's not clear when NASA plans to open the facility.
