Former Vice President Joe Biden adopts adorable shelter dog

WILMINGTON, Delaware (KTRK) -- Former Vice President Joe Biden has a new 4-legged friend.

The Delaware Humane Association shared photos Saturday of Biden adopting one of their dogs.

The dog's name is "Major" and he has been living with the Biden's for a while as a foster.

The former VP seemed as happy as his new friend as they left the facility.
