Humpback soaks whale watchers during close encounter in Alaska

PLEASANT ISLAND, Alaska -- An incredible face to face encounter with a Humpback whale was captured on video in Alaska.

Tristan Krause says he was enjoying a whale watching tour close to Pleasant Island on August 20 when he and his fellow passengers experienced a close encounter with a humpback whale.

The whale leapt out the water and soaked everyone on board.

A crew said they followed 14 humpback whales along with hundreds of sealions as they fed on schools of anchovies, and the wonderful sight was captured all on video.
