Historic hotel in the Theater District ready to reopen after Hurricane Harvey damage

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Eyewitness News got a sneak preview of a historic hotel finally ready to reopen after Harvey.

The Hotel Lancaster, in the heart of the Theater District, has spent more than a year renovating from flooding and storm damage.

The hotel says the multi-million dollar redesign has made it a warm and personal backdrop for a collection of more than 200 works of art by contemporary Texas artists.
