HFD mourns after firefighter killed in car crash

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of its own.

The department tweeted this picture of Brian Sumrall, an engineer-operator at Station 44.

Sumrall died in a crash yesterday, according to the Houston Professional Firefighters Association.

The association is working with the Sumrall family and HFD on funeral arrangements.
