Texans fan starts GoFundMe page to oust Brock Osweiler
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Want to get rid of the Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler? Now you can put your money where your mouth is -- on a new GoFundMe page. In just hours, four people contributed $20 toward the $72 million effort to buy out Osweiler's four-year contract.
The page cropped up after the loss against the Denver Broncos Monday night. And while the page and its lofty goal are largely symbolic so far, Texans fans are reaching the page and sharing their rage over the disappointing season.
The page description reads, "I am a die-hard Texans fan and we need to get rid of Brock Osweiler or we're not going anywhere. He is a waste of 72 million and for a dollar a day we can get him out and make Deandre Hopkins happy."
The GoFundMe page has been shared more than 800 times.
In the comments, one person writes, "As a die-hard Broncos fan, I am sorry for your suffering but he's no longer our problem. Good luck with the next few years with him."
