SUGAR LAND (KTRK) -- Bring on the bacon! Bacon Brothers Public House has landed in Sugar Land.

The South Carolina-based restaurant celebrates everything pork, with menu items like coffee roasted pork tenderloin, "potater tots" served with fried pigs ears, and the "B.E.T." - a gourmet take on a B.L.T., with pork belly pastrami, Swiss cheese, fried duck egg, green peppercorn mayo, arugula, and yellow tomato.

General Manager, Travis Cook, says it's all about making you feel right at home.

"The kind of feeling that you get when you eat bacon kind of reminds you of being at your grandma's house on a weekend morning . When you wake up smell the bacon frying, you just know you are going to be taken care of," Cook said.

The restaurant also boasts an in-house curing chamber, visible at the front of the restaurant.

"It's part of that southern tradition of preservation before there was refrigeration and you slaughtered a whole pig, you had to find a way to make it last throughout the cold months," Cook said.

Bacon Brothers is located at 2110 Town Square Pl., Sugar Land, Texas 77479.
