BROWARD COUNTY, FL (KTRK) -- Fishermen spotted the man and woman seven miles off the coast of Florida Saturday and picked them up.
Authorities say the couple fell off their boat while it was in gear and watched it pull away. They treaded water through the night without wearing any life jackets.
By the time those fishermen found them, the couple was suffering from cramps and has suffered numerous jelly fish stings.
They're in the hospital being treated for dehyration and hypothermia.
Officials are warning boaters to travel with personal emergency equipment just in case something goes wrong on the water.
