Tomball ISD plans for 'mask optional' 2021-22 school year
While the district's mask mandate is currently still in effect, it will be up to students and staff to decide their preference next year.

TOMBALL, Texas -- Tomball ISD officials announced in a social media post April 14 the district is planning for a "mask optional" 2021-22 school year. While the district's mask mandate is currently still in effect, the statement notes masks will be optional in TISD for all students and staff effective at the end of the last day of school, May 27.

Therefore, masks will be optional for summer school, summer athletic camps and all school-related activities following May 27.
