HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Clutch, the Houston Rockets' lovable mascot, is celebrating his 20th work anniversary today.

The big red bear posted on his Facebook page this morning that it was on this day 20 years ago when he first started working for the Rockets organization. He thanked the Rockets and all of fans for allowing him to entertain them.

Clutch has made more than 6,000 appearances in the last 20 years and worked more than 1,300 Rockets games.

He's a member of the Mascot Hall of Fame and is a previous NBA Mascot of the Year winner.

Clutch is even known for being quite the athlete, completing a couple of half-marathons. He's also helped with the weather and traffic reports here at abc13 on Eyewitness News this Morning.
