HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Hundreds of artists working in more than a dozen types of mediums will take over downtown next weekend for the 43rd annual Bayou City Art Festival downtown.
When: October 11 and 12 from 10am to 6pm

Tickets are free for children 3 and younger, non-members may purchase tickets online or at festival doors for $15 for adults and $3 for children 4 through 12.
Bayou City After Dark
You can grab a drink and a patch of grass, kick back and enjoy the grooves at Bayou City Art Festival's After Dark Concert & Cocktails on Saturday, October 11th from 5 to 9:30 PM (After Dark Tickets are only valid for Saturday after 5pm ONLY).
Make sure to spend the day uncovering the unique works of art from all over the country, enjoy multicultural food trucks and concessions booths, and then relax as the sun sets. Jam out to the timeless tunes of Martha Wash and witness live painting and architectural video mapping projected in real time onto landscape, buildings, and other public structures. Soak up the atomic energy of Grady Gaines & The Texas Upsetters as he sizzles and sways with his saxophone.
