NEW CUMBERLAND, West Virginia (KTRK) -- Wildlife workers rescued a bald eagle trapped in the Ohio River.
Cellphone video shows the bird, with its 7-foot wingspan, doing the breaststroke in the water in West Virginia.
Wildlife workers used a basket attached to a long pole to pick up the bird.
They eventually dropped the bird into a boat but then noticed it still couldn't fly.
They later discovered that the bald eagle was dehydrated.
It was eventually nursed back to health and released.
