Former Mayor Annise Parker to take new job at Ivy League

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Former Houston Mayor Annise Parker has a new job with Harvard University, the Ivy League school announced today.

Parker has been named a resident fellow for the Institute of Politics at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.

She will lead weekly study groups for a semester.

Parker will join an organization founder, an ambassador and a museum director, among others as fellows.
