Hold onto your winter jacket for one more day and grab your umbrella as well.

Meteorologist Travis Herzog says temperatures are above freezing everywhere, but it's still colder than normal as light rain showers blow in from the Gulf.

Drizzle and light rain will fall intermittently around the Houston area today, especially south of I-10.

Travis says we can expect even more wet and foggy weather blowing in Saturday and Sunday as temperatures climb all the way into the 70s. Drizzle and mist will be common as the warm, humid air shoves out the bitter arctic air that's been parked over Houston the past few days.

A Pacific cool front blowing in late Sunday could bring a round of late thunderstorms. Travis says the air blowing in behind this front will be milder than the recent Arctic blast, so no freezing temperatures are expected in Houston next week.
