Big rig overturns on Eastex Fwy southbound ramp to I-10 East

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An overturned 18-wheeler is blocking the Eastex Freeway southbound ramp to the East Freeway Eastbound.

This truck was carrying watermelons, but none of the watermelons spilled onto the ground.

The gas tank of the truck did rupture and spill diesel fuel. Cleanup is expected to last through the rush hour.
