The Houston Astros aren't known to be shopping outfielder George Springer in trade talks this offseason, but one young fan still wanted to let general manager Jeff Luhnow know why he thinks that's a bad idea.

The fan, whose name is Will, wrote a letter to Luhnow listing three reasons why Springer should remain a part of the team.

He even rocks the same haircut as Springer -- that's true fandom.

Astros pitcher Lance McCullers also joined in on the fun. Who knows, maybe it was him who secretly wrote the letter.

Nevertheless, neither of them should have much to worry about. Springer is one of the Astros' best young players and isn't a free agent until 2021 at the earliest. The 27-year-old had 29 home runs and 82 RBIs last season -- both career highs.
