HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston's Art Car Parade rolled into town this weekend.
The 28th annual parade brought out thousands of spectators to see what artists dreamed up. According to event organizers, art cars are usually older vehicles that have been transformed into wild pieces of art still capable of driving on the road.
At the event on Saturday, April 11, 2015, spectators saw more than 250 cars from as far away as Canada. The parade is free and runs along Allen Parkway, rain or shine.
