Float around Texas in Houston's newest lazy river

HOUSTON -- It doesn't get much more Texas than this! Visitors to a new Houston hotel now have the opportunity to float around in a Texas-shaped water feature.
The Lone Star-themed lazy river sits atop The Marriott Marquis Houston Downtown, which opened in December 2016.
In addition to the Texas-shaped pool, the hotel also features a more traditional rectangular pool. The water features and common areas are designed to dovetail visually into Discovery Green, which sits adjacent to the hotel.
