Vehicles burglarized during Taylor Swift concert in downtown Houston

Vehicles broken into around Minute Maid Park
Police say thieves were stealing from cars as fans attended last night's Taylor Swift concert.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- HPD is investigating at least least ten vehicle break-in's near Minute Maid Park.

Several of the burglaries happened in the parking lot of the Kim Hung Grocery Store at Lamar and St Emanuel Street. Many of the victims tell is it happened while they were watching Taylor Swift perform.

"We parked over here. We walk to the concert it's just a few blocks away. And when we came back there's about three cars in this little area they got their window broken in. We had a laptop and backpack with all her school stuff stolen out of her car," Andrew Moreno told Eyewitness News.

Concertgoers also reported other vehicle break-in's around Minute Maid Park where many had paid upwards of $80 to park their vehicles for last night's concert.
