SPLENDORA, TX (KTRK) -- A man is dead after he was trapped in a fire in Splendora, TX.

The flames were intense and moved fast, gutting part of the home within minutes. Eyewitness News' Steve Campion reported this morning that the fire was still smoldering more than 12 hours after the fire broke out.
