Stolen Rosehill fire truck recovered

Stolen fire truck found
The stolen truck was found in heavily wooded property north of Magnolia. The radio, siren, and light bar are all missing.

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- A tip to the Rosehill Fire Department led to the discovery of the department's stolen fire truck.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's office hauled the stolen truck from a heavily wooded property off FM 1486, north of Magnolia. The radio, siren, and light bar are all missing. The left front axle is also damaged.

Someone stole the F-350 brush truck during the early morning hours on Monday from Rosehill Fire Department Station 3 in Hockley on FM 22531.

The truck is headed to the Sheriff's Office in Conroe for investigators to process it as evidence.
