HPD officer is hospitalized after struck by a Metro Rail train
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An HPD officer was going to a call and was struck by a Metro Rail train traveling on Harrisburg,late last night.
The officer was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The train operator was not injured. Reports say that there were two passengers on the train when the accident occurred. But, they left the scene before anyone could find out their information.
Both the HPD patrol unit and the train had major damage.
