HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The family of a Bush Intercontinental Airport worker who died in a tram accident is suing his employer.

William Coffy, 56, fell 30 feet to his death in August. An attorney for his family says Coffy was cleaning debris off the track and slipped and fell.

The family says Bombardier Transportation failed to provide adequate training, railing and fall protection.

And this isn't the first time there's been accident at the airport.

"About five years ago, there was another tram death. So it's important to the family, and the reason that the family is filing this suit, is to make sure that this doesn't happen to any other families again," said Sean Roberts, attorney for the Coffy family.

Coffy's relatives flew in from Ghana to bury him this week.
