Deputy shoots dog after NW Harris County attack
Two people were attacked by dogs in northwest Harris County, and a deputy was forced to shoot one of those canines, according to the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable's Office.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two people were attacked by dogs in northwest Harris County, and a deputy was forced to shoot one of those canines, according to the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable's Office.

The dog attack happened on Ridgebriar.

According to the constable's office, 86 year-old Ruby Lucky was attacked by two dogs. A 65-year-old neighbor tried to intervene, but was attacked as well. They are both in critical condition, but stable.

A deputy arrived at the scene and shot one dog, giving it minor injuries. The other dog was not injured.

Animal Control has been called out to this residence several times due to animal complaints. No word on whether the owner could face charges or if the dogs will be put down.
