Roy Sexton, Director of Corporate Security

Roy Sexton serves as Director of Corporate Security for Cadence Bank. He previously was the Special Agent in Charge (SAIC) of the Birmingham District Office of the United States Secret Service, covering Alabama and Mississippi. Before his assignment as SAIC, Sexton served as an Assistant Inspector with the Secret Service's Inspection Division, conducting compliance inspections and special investigations. Following the terrorist attacks of 9/11, he was tasked with initiating, and subsequently placed in charge of, the security detail for the first Secretary of Homeland Security Governor Tom Ridge. During the administrations of Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, Sexton was assigned to the Presidential Protective Division, where he worked as a shift agent and conducted advances for both sitting presidents. Sexton also was assigned to the Secret Service's Counter Assault Team (CAT), a tactical unit responsible for responding to major events or multiple attackers. Sexton began his career with the Secret Service as a field agent in the Chicago Field Office.

Laura Buckley, Information Security Director

As Information Security Director for Cadence Bank, Laura Buckley brings 18 years of information technology and security experience, with 12 of those years in financial services. During the course of her career, Buckley has built information security programs for three financial institutions, and has expertise in cybersecurity, incident response, technology, risk management and regulatory compliance. She also serves as Cadence's Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and HIPAA Officer. Buckley holds the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information System Control (CRISC).

Daniel McIntyre, Information Systems Security Manager

With 18 years of experience in the banking industry, Daniel McIntyre is no stranger to financial fraud. He serves as Information Systems Security Manager for Cadence Bank, and prior to that spent 11 years overseeing Compass Bank's credit card fraud division. McIntyre holds several certifications: Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Computer Forensics Examiner (CCFE) and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI).
