Houston's liquidation company offering low prices year-round
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- This year-round liquidation company may have some of the best deals in town.
Kenneth Sheffield with Sheffield & Sheffield Liquidation makes his living buying overstock items from big box retailers and selling them at liquidation prices to the public.
Top name brands include Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi and Hampton Bay.
Most of his popular items are power tools, ceiling fans and building materials like hardwood floors.
Sheffield showed us $2,500 worth of flooring, priced to sell at $1,250.
Patio furniture is also a big seller. A 7-piece set starts at $350. Lawn equipment and vanities are also for sale, but the tools are what really shine for the price.
Sheffield says a Milwaukee tool set that retails for $400 is only $200.
The items will change from day to day, but Sheffield, who is also a victim of the flood, says he's sticking to 50 percent off the retail price.
"So many people out there have been devastated by this hurricane. We have lowered our price by 50 percent and we are staying right there until things level off in Houston," he said.
Sheffield & Sheffield Liquidation is located in Channelview off the East Freeway. They get new truck loads of items three to four times a week so the merchandise is always changing.
