A video from an ABC13 viewer shows a transformer spark as the storms moved through.

As of Thursday evening, there are over 52,560 customers without power according to CenterPoint Energy's tracker.
Earlier, the tracker revealed a six-digit number of customers still looking to have the power turned back on.
The tracker shows that most outages are being reported in areas just north and northwest of Houston, including Enchanted Oaks, in Spring.
"It's hot. You know what I'm saying. Sitting in the house, it's hot. No AC, no generator, it's hot," Daundray Isaac sai, as he walked while his children, nieces and nephews rode their bikes.
Power at Isaac's home has been touch and go since Wednesday evening.

"We'll be watching TV, they'll be playing games and the games will go off," he added.
On Wednesday, the night the storm hit, more than 275,000 customers were affected.
ABC13 caught up with the Nunez family, who were working outside to remove a downed tree while their portable generator powered as much as possible inside. Juan Nunez said he worries for his elderly neighbors in this blistering heat.
"I hope they get it fixed sooner. At least tomorrow," Nunez said.

The atmosphere has stabilized after Wednesday night's round of storms, but the area could see some rain as the weekend nears. Rain chances stick around through Friday. Thursday actually brings the highest probability of rain at 40%, and then it's back down to 20% for Friday.
