HISD making sure schools, buses warm for students

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- While you're bundling up the kids for school, HISD is doing the same for buses and schools this morning.

Bus drivers arrived earlier then usual this morning to warm up the buses and make sure everything is okay before heading out to pick up the kids. HISD even called in back up drivers just in case it needs more hands to help out.

At the same time, HVAC techs are checking out all the boilers in schools. They're making sure the heat and water are running properly before students show up, to keep everyone warm for the entire school day.
