LOS ANGELES, California (KTRK) -- A meteor was seen shooting across the sky in Southern California overnight.
Sightings of the meteor were reported across Southern California, from Santa Barbara to San Diego and as far east as Arizona.
A woman in San Diego was video chatting with a friend when it suddenly flew by behind her.
"Did you guys see that? Did you guys see that?" the woman said in shock.
9-1-1 was inundated for a while with people thinking the meteor was an airplane crash in Hesperia, but no wreckage was found.
